Built for a room with people in it
No second screen needed
One person hosts: they start the game and run the music. Everyone else joins with a four-letter code and follows the song, the scores and their own turn on their own phone.
Nobody sits out
A miss opens the song to the rest of the table, so the players who did not buzz are the ones waiting for it.
250 ms decides it
The first press opens a window a quarter of a second wide. The fastest reaction inside it answers — not whoever has the best connection.
